What is Nim

Nim is an all-in-one AI video creation app with world’s best models, millions of reusable clips, and powerful prompt assistant. We’ve raised $5M+ from top venture firms in Silicon Valley and beyond.

Nim launched in January 2025 and grew to 1.9M users and $3M annualized revenue run-rate since then.

In June, we introduced Nim Stories — world’s first agent able to make a TikTok-sized video with a single click. Nim does the rest: research, script writing, visuals, narration, captions, and final editing.

Our mission is to build the world’s most creative AI that works alongside humans and helps them produce videos worth millions of views.

Why we build Nim

In modern world, if you want to express yourself and be seen, you need to make videos. Before AI, video creation was limited by who you are: your looks, your voice, and the place you live in. And social media algorithms have strong biases when deciding who gets the attention.

AI levels the playing field by giving everyone the same, creatively-unlimited tools. Moreover, people can make videos by improving each others’ content instead of creating alone and always starting from zero.

Despite those promises, mainstream adoption of AI video hasn’t happened yet. It’s still too hard for everyday people to use AI to make complete, shareable stories. We are building Nim to change this.

The roadmap

Here’s our plan to make AI video creation accessible to all:

Make the best open-source and commercial API models accessible through a single app. Dynamically choose the best model for each task. Keep updating and improving models in the background.
Design a simple-yet-powerful interface that creators only need to learn once.
Offer fair pricing. Let creators focus on stories, not credit management.
Encourage public creation. Maximize opportunities for cross-use and inspiration.
Invest in templates. For every building block — character, style, motion, facial expression, sound, voice — there should be an easy starting option. And, of course, custom options for advanced creators.
Make great story-level tools. It’s not enough to generate images and short clips. Nim should help creators stitch those segments together without leaving for an external editor.
Inspire sharing and collaboration. Provide tools to share, like, comment, remix, and collaborate on stories directly in the Nim app.
Invest in community. Celebrate top creators, create resources for beginners, and welcome new creators to the world of AI video in the most friendly way possible.
