About the Role

We are looking for a User Acquisition Manager to help us build a scalable high-ROAS acquisition process starting with Meta Ads. Initially, your role will be focused on scaling creative operations: generating ideas for new campaigns, analyzing competitors, writing briefs, working with video editors and UGC creators.

Over time, your role may expand to cover campaign management and analytics, scaling the team, and/or covering other platforms like LinkedIn, Reddit, Twitter, and Youtube.

Responsibilities

Campaign ideation

Generate dozens/hundreds new campaign concepts and variations per week

  • Bring the best practices in various ad formats including motion graphics, UGC, and AI UGC
  • Study competitors’ top-performing ads and adapt what works
  • Work with our product teams to find the best ways to promote our newest features
  • Develop campaign concepts based on specific use cases, user personas, or external trends

Creative production

Produce ad creatives at scale

  • Work closely with video editors, UGC creators, and AI artists
  • Review creatives, provide feedback, and develop internal playbook with best practices
  • Continuously analyze performance data to evolve creative concepts and variations

Process building & optimization

Improve and scale creative operations processes

  • Set up and refine workflows for idea generation, production, and refinement
  • Hire, manage, and, when needed, replace contributors such as video editors and AI artists
  • Optimize for speed: help us go from concept to live campaigns in hours or in 1-2 days
  • Maintain the infrastructure: spreadsheets, naming conventions, Google Drive folders, etc.
  • Set and track KPIs: ideas proposed and approved, creatives produced, production velocity

Expectations

  • Within 1 month: Create a structured process, produce 50-150 creatives
  • Within 3 months: Scale the process, improve quality and quantity of creatives, improve and expand the team of video editors, AI artists, and UGC collaborators
  • Within 6 months: get promoted and expand your role to take on full-stack campaign management and/or expanding to more platforms beyond Meta Ads

Requirements

  • User acquisition success. Was part of the team with monthly acquisition budgets $100k+ (ideally much higher) and above-industry-average ROAS results.
  • Creative operations skills. Exceptional skills in developing new creative concepts, working with video editors and UGC creators, and adapting best ideas from competitors.
  • Raw intelligence. Structured thinker, concise, self-critical, clear communicator with high information density.
  • Extreme learning ability. Exponential learner, able to quickly absorb insights from users, competitors, and the founder.
  • Ownership mindset. Generates ideas, sets goals, prioritizes, builds processes, delivers, seeks feedback, and hungry for self-improvement.
  • Startup fit. Comfortable with rapidly changing plans and high-autonomy, fast-paced, remote-first culture.
  • Opinionated yet collaborative. Has strong ideas how to do things but also willing to listen to teammates and incorporate some of their ideas.

Would be a big plus:

  • AI-native. Worked in an AI-related field (LLMs, agents, creative apps, etc.) for 6 months or more.
  • Metrics culture. Worked at big tech, unicorn, early stage startup, agency, or any other high-pressure, result-oriented workplace.
  • Remote-ready. Worked on a remote-first team before
