What is Nim
Nim is an all-in-one AI video creation app with world’s best models in one place. We launched in January 2025 and grew to 5M+ users since then.
Nim exists in three forms:
- Self-service web app where anyone can create.
- MCP plugin for Claude and ChatGPT/Codex for creating inside world’s most popular LLMs.
- Ad production service for large brands where Nim acts as an agency and delivers hundreds of high-converting video ads each month.
Our mission is to build the world’s most creative AI that works alongside humans and helps them produce videos worth millions of views. We’ve raised $6M+ from top venture firms in Silicon Valley and beyond.
Why we build Nim
In modern world, if you want to express yourself and be seen, you need to make videos. Before AI, video creation was limited by who you are: your looks, your voice, and the place you live in. And social media algorithms have strong biases when deciding who gets the attention.
AI levels the playing field by giving everyone the same, creatively-unlimited tools. Moreover, people can make videos by improving each others’ content instead of creating alone and always starting from zero.
Despite those promises, it’s still too hard for people and organizations to use AI to make videos worth watching. We are building Nim to change this.
The roadmap
Here’s our plan to make AI video creation accessible to all:
- Make the best open-source and commercial API models accessible through a single app. Dynamically choose the best model for each task. Keep updating and improving models in the background.
- Design a simple-yet-powerful interface that creators only need to learn once.
- Offer fair pricing. Let creators focus on stories, not credit management.
- Encourage public creation. Maximize opportunities for cross-use and inspiration.
- Invest in templates and playbooks. For every building block — character, style, motion, facial expression, sound, voice — there should be an easy starting option.
- Make great story-level tools. It’s not enough to generate images and short clips. Nim should help creators stitch those segments together without leaving for an external editor.
- Inspire sharing and collaboration. Provide tools to share, like, comment, remix, and collaborate on stories directly in the Nim app.
- Invest in community. Celebrate top creators, create resources for beginners, and welcome new creators to the world of AI video in the most friendly way possible.
