Nim is an all-in-one AI video creation app with world’s best models, millions of reusable clips, and powerful prompt assistant. We’ve raised $5M+ from top venture firms in Silicon Valley and beyond.

Nim launched in January 2025 and grew to 1.9M users and $3M annualized revenue run-rate since then.

In June, we introduced Nim Stories — world’s first agent able to make a TikTok-sized video with a single click. Nim does the rest: research, script writing, visuals, narration, captions, and final editing.

Our mission is to build the world’s most creative AI that works alongside humans and helps them produce videos worth millions of views.

About the Role

We are looking for a Head of Marketing to iterate on Nim’s positioning and messaging. For the first 3–6 months, this will be a hands-on individual contributor role, focused on creating and maintaining the messaging foundation, executing major launch campaigns, and developing organic influencer relationships. From there, the role evolves into a player-coach — building a small but powerful team to cover community, own social accounts, and brand marketing.

Responsibilities

Positioning · Messaging

  • Run the process to create Nim messaging and keep it up to date
    • We define messaging as a source-of-truth document that answers 20–40 of the most important questions about Nim: customer personas, use cases, key benefits and features, differentiation, mission and values, future plans, social proof, etc
    • Nim messaging doc will be the starting point for all external communications, including ads, influencer posts, launch campaigns, investor decks, press releases, and more
  • Be the primary force in prioritizing user segments, use cases, and value propositions
  • Contribute to creative concept development for performance marketing and influencer marketing teams

Key announcements on social media

  • Execute major product launches: launch videos, posts on own socials, supporter activation
  • Quick announcements on secondary news e.g. individual model launches on Nim

Organic influencer relationships

  • Build and maintain a list of key influencers
  • Provide access and credits to ensure they can fully experience Nim
  • Distribute pre-launch materials to support coverage
  • Track activity, engage in comments, say thanks

Expectations

  • Within 1 month. Analyze everything: review product metrics, talk to users and the product team, review competitors and comparables in adjacent spaces. Deliver the first comprehensive messaging doc. Prepare the first major launch campaign.
  • Within 3 months. Execute 1–2 major launch campaigns. Help our performance marketing and influencer marketing team turn your messaging doc into high-ROI campaigns.
  • In 6 months and beyond. Transition from IC to player-coach. Hire, onboard, and train your own team. Drive 25%+ of Nim signups from the channels you manage: launch campaigns, organic influencers, own social media. Make Nim a top-5 brand for agentic video creation.

Requirements

  • Sharp. Structured thinker, concise, self-critical, clear communicator with high information density.
  • Ownership mindset. Generates ideas, prioritizes, sets goals, delivers, seeks feedback, hungry for self-improvement.
  • Leader in the making. Ready to run your own team and operate at a level comparable to unicorns in adjacent categories (e.g. Lovable, Cursor, Perplexity).
  • Extreme learning ability. Exponential learner, able to absorb insights from users, competitors, and founder input quickly.
  • Comfortable in a multifunctional role. Can deliver world-class results while simultaneously driving 2-5 major initiatives, starting with messaging doc, launch campaigns, and organic influencer relationship building.
  • Startup fit. Comfortable with rapidly changing plans and high-autonomy, fast-paced, remote-first culture.
  • Opinionated yet collaborative. Has strong ideas how to do things but also willing to listen to teammates and incorporate some of their ideas.

Would be a big plus:

  • AI-native. Worked in an AI-related field (LLMs, agents, video, etc.) for 6 months or more. Big tech, unicorn, early stage startup, agency or any other high pressure, result-oriented background.
  • Remote-ready. Worked on a remote-first team before
